
Pete GeorgantasExecutive Officer
pgeorgantas@nationalhonorguardacademy.comInstructor Georgantas has been involved with this academy since its inception, and has proven himself as a well-rounded mentor to the students. Pete is married, has a daughter and a son and resides in Trinity, Florida.
He works as a Driver-Operator with Clearwater Fire and Rescue and has been employed there for eight years. Besides his normal duties, Pete also serves on the Technical Rescue Team, is a Rescue Diver and the Assistant Coordinator of the Honor Guard. Pete was also a founding member of his department’s Honor Guard and has served in many key roles at numerous events.
He has assisted with the command and execution of the National Fallen Firefighter Memorial and the State of Florida Fallen Firefighter Memorial. Pete has been involved in marching and color team drill for over 24 years. He got his start in Junior ROTC as a member of the color guard, drill team and competitive rifle team. From there Pete was off to the Marine Corps and then the fire service honor guard. He has both Fire and EMS backgrounds serving 10 and 5 years respectively.
Pete prides himself on patriotism, precision and always striving for perfection.
